Probably old news to many and no doubt has been posted at some point before...but there are some really good general tool guides from Craftsman and others at vintagemachinery.org (also much more)...the link below is to old Craftsman general tool guides as they have the best variety, very good detailed info on tool setup, operation, sharpening, etc. and most of it is still relevant...select "instruction guides" as the publication type for the general tool manuals.

Wow, what an incredible compilation of literature. Thanks for sharing the link.

I gravitated right to the 1925 book and can't believe the prices. Some tools just pennies, single digit dollar amounts for new vises. Unreal.
