I picked up a couple Ryobi tools at Home Depot I found on clearance. Mine had some of the corded heat guns that people like for $23, down from recent $30 or so posted here recently in a thread. It looks like a few steps up from the Harbor Freight $10 ones on sale. It was hidden over in the paint section.

Also had some of the older P300 cordless one + nailer/staplers on closeout for all of $20. The new bigger/better nailer gun is out now, so out with the old. Could still be useful for someone though and not much $$ for smaller projects. Much lighter than the new bigger one too.

Also found one of the not too old hand pruners on closeout for about $20. Not sure how necessary these are since the bigger/badder reciprocating saw is more powerful. But the little pruner is smaller and lighter. Says it can only do 1.5" thick branches though so it is limited. I passed on this one myself.

Mine also had some older weed whacker trimmers with a P118 black charger I like and a full size ni cad battery included for $39 a set. Not bad at all for that if you can use it. On BF, they had the better bigger newer trimmer with a full size lithium and same charger for $79. That was more capable but also almost twice the price.

So check out your HD clearance areas this time of year. There were some other tool there too but nothing I needed. -Paul

So passing by my Home Depot again, they still had that Ryobi one plus hand pruner on the closeout for like $19. Last one was the display model. Thinking about that some more, I found it is a bit of a different tool than people think, which may be why it hasn't done well. I worked out a deal with the supervisor there to buy the display, without anything else with it for $10. Tried it at home and found it has a shorter stroke than the big reciprocating saw but plenty of power and much less vibration. I'm glad I got this after all. Think of it as a fine one hand control saw, where you want more precision in a cut than the recip can do. For tree wood cutting, I'll use the recip normally, but for precision type cuts on metal or finished wood, this little thing is much better, and could replace a sabre saw perhaps but with much more power than a cordless sabre saw. Has a place. Get one fast while you can if you want one! - Paul

I recently picked up a RAP200B paint sprayer for $139. This is one of the airless sprayers that feeds from a 1 to 5 gallon container.
