I brought some of my Dads tools home today, to add to my stuff;

Montgomery Ward Master set, with a Williams Superratchet, all sockets are Indestro brand.

Some Barcalo box wrenches

A pair of Diamalloy lineman pliers

Finally another Craftsman Heritage toolbox. I think this was for a 3/8 drive set, the good thing is it will fit in the top of my Heritage 2 drawer box in place of the missing tray!

That's great you got you are taking care of your dads tools. Looks like he had some good ones.

What sort of tool chest is that to the right of the tools in your picture? Is that part of the same archive?

The chest to the right is my 2 drawer Craftsman Heritage from 1957.

There are few things more precious to inherit than the tools of someone you cared about and who used them well. I have been blessed to have inherited a few nice ones from family as well. Sorry for your loss.

Bob, any idea of the age of the Master set? I found a Master box with the same logo last weekend, and wonder when it was made. The box appears to have been dark blue originally.
