so my uncle has some stuff that I want and these items are what I gathered as far as trading stock toward what he has that I want..
what he has is an ancient metric starrett micromiter... very old but metric?
and an old sheet metal like chest that has 5 drawrs about 24"x24" square x 4" deep witch are then all divided up into like 4x4x4 squares within the drawers..
I want to transfer all of my sockets, ratchets, extensions (minus monsters), adaptors, universals etc into this box witch would be doable by cutting out a few dividers here and there for longer extentions and ratchets..
what I have that im willing to let go of somewhat (because I haven't the room in my boxes) is what is going to be in the picture in my nest post on this thread but I want to categorize it first a bit here so you all know what exactly it is..
here we go..
large npt die/pipe thread cutting set, 6 dies 1/4 - 1 1/4, with ratchet head and takedown handle
AST 201 and 203 stud extractor sets, 6, 8 10, 12mm and 1/4 - 5/8 standard
(some sort of eccentric rollers inside of socket like things that can remove/install studs without harming them, quite neat..
ATD model 102 torque wrench, 1/2 drive, like 26" long, up to 250 ft lbs
Snap-On series C torque wrench, with 4 pat no's on it, I believe I dated it to the early seventies before.. up to 200 ft/lbs and about 20-22" long
Irwin Hansen 25 piece easy outs kit like 1/8 to 7/8 , couple doubles, couple missing I guess, and other random outs I keep in the middle cause they fit nice there..
3 mac model AR154 pneumatic ratchets, they work fine, nothing interesting about them I suppose...
oh and a strip of snap on sockets, all sockets snappies and the shorter extention, longer extention and uni are SK.. (no way uncle is getting this stuff for his stuff, just wanted to get his taste buds warmed up with those
thanks guys
so Ill go get the pic up and hope you guys can tell me a bit more about what I really have here,
