so my uncle has some stuff that I want and these items are what I gathered as far as trading stock toward what he has that I want..

what he has is an ancient metric starrett micromiter... very old but metric?

and an old sheet metal like chest that has 5 drawrs about 24"x24" square x 4" deep witch are then all divided up into like 4x4x4 squares within the drawers..

I want to transfer all of my sockets, ratchets, extensions (minus monsters), adaptors, universals etc into this box witch would be doable by cutting out a few dividers here and there for longer extentions and ratchets..

what I have that im willing to let go of somewhat (because I haven't the room in my boxes) is what is going to be in the picture in my nest post on this thread but I want to categorize it first a bit here so you all know what exactly it is..

here we go..

large npt die/pipe thread cutting set, 6 dies 1/4 - 1 1/4, with ratchet head and takedown handle

AST 201 and 203 stud extractor sets, 6, 8 10, 12mm and 1/4 - 5/8 standard
(some sort of eccentric rollers inside of socket like things that can remove/install studs without harming them, quite neat..

ATD model 102 torque wrench, 1/2 drive, like 26" long, up to 250 ft lbs

Snap-On series C torque wrench, with 4 pat no's on it, I believe I dated it to the early seventies before.. up to 200 ft/lbs and about 20-22" long

Irwin Hansen 25 piece easy outs kit like 1/8 to 7/8 , couple doubles, couple missing I guess, and other random outs I keep in the middle cause they fit nice there..

3 mac model AR154 pneumatic ratchets, they work fine, nothing interesting about them I suppose...

oh and a strip of snap on sockets, all sockets snappies and the shorter extention, longer extention and uni are SK.. (no way uncle is getting this stuff for his stuff, just wanted to get his taste buds warmed up with those ;)

thanks guys

so Ill go get the pic up and hope you guys can tell me a bit more about what I really have here,

there ya go....

oh and all I can find on the npt dies is it says "type 62" on the ratchet part..
no names, no country of origin, nothing on the box, nothing else as far as I can tell..

Those are yard sale items.
nothing very special.
just filler and trade stuff.

$50 total if you had to have it.

wow.. it seems like some pretty nice stuff to me..

no way id sell it all for $50 either, I have more than that into it anyway and will keep it happily..

I definitely like it more than a lousy $50 bill..

Just go to ebay, look at the SOLD listings of like items in same condition, then use a calculator to determine what the seller actually pocketed.

I got the same POS pipe threader. The 1/2 die wouldn't cut threads on a 1/2 pipe. too small. I think it came from northern hydraulic some years back. I probably didn't give much for it then?

ive never used it, I don't work with stuff like that like ever...

ill make sure that goes away then..

I payed $20 for it... figured it was an ok investment..

got the stud sockets in a stack box I bought full of stuff..

got 4 of those macs for like $15 at a garage sale and none worked until I went all the way through them..

got the snap torque for $25 or $30 from a creepy CL deal..

easy outs I got on a trade plus some snap feeler gauges n something else for a pile of china sockets/spanners I got rid of

snap sockets I got on another trade for I don't remember..

idk.. I feel good about the purchases

The extractors are a great set. Thats the same set Snap On rebadges as REX25B. That alone is worth 50-100.
