I like that Canadian stuff. My wife is from Winnipeg, maybe one day if I can find a cheap enough CA produced socket set I will give them to her parents for Xmas or something.

The "challenger of canada" adjustable was made in the USA?! That's bogus.

You will have noticed that the Challenger tools you have are labelled in 3 ways. In case you're interested, the progression over time was:


  1. challenger OF CANADA
  2. PROTO CHALLENGER CANADA
  3. CHALLENGER BY PROTO CANADA

My uncle has alot of the "Challenger of Canada". Where was it sold? When was it phased out (the Cdn made stuff)? What was the quality level of it compared to Gray and other common brands of the day?
