I have experienced this before with Briggs & Stratton parts and now with Husqvarna. The part has a long serial number, and online sellers list both the serial number and a simple number, Like HL180-56. I'll explain:
I'm looking for a bar for for a Husqvarna chain saw, part #530044508 stamped on the bar. Retailers list also #HL180-56 under that same #. When I search the internet for HL180-56, I find more results for a cheaper item part #531300445.
Why the different and cheaper item with the same #HL180-56?
