I finally got the shop done and actually started using it. First project was a new lawn sprayer. Box in front is to haul around the chemicals. Originally the tank was on a piece of sh!t trailer. Bought it at Northern tool. Wheel fell off first time I used it. They sent me another wheel. That fell of the next year. so I built a new trailer and slapped the tank on it. These wheels ain't falling off. It has fold up booms. When down they will do a 12' swath in one pass.
Next I built a kick stand for the mower deck. The deck is heavy and before when I used to clean the bottom and sharpen blades I had to prop it up with a 2x4. Very unsafe, as it didn't take much to tip it over. I have little kids running around so that wasn't going to work.
Simple on, simple off. Much safer.
Next I took a dethatcher made for some other model John Deere and put it on mine and then put hydraulics to it. Need one more hose before it's done.
My grandpa did some of the modifications to it a few years ago to make it fit my tractor. I just added the hydraulics and painted it up.
This was not really a necessary project. I only use the thing once or twice a year. I just wanted to do it for something to do. Need to use the shop I built.
