So a little background, I purchased my first house a little over two years ago. The house was a wreck but in a great location, just ran down. The main reason for purchase was a spacious back yard and this great shed the previous owner had built.

So the first order of business was to clean the shop and make useful, then tackle all the renovations needed inside the home to make livable. Having done all those items, I have been working my way through the shop and outbuildings.

It has been a lot of fun seeing the shop evolve and providing me with a better and better space to work in. A well thought out shop can serve a multitude of functions from cabinetry and wood finishing, metal fabrication, and truck and equipment repair.

Just having the shop makes me happy and more productive. Looking out to the back yard and shop, really is like a little oasis.

Here is the wiring clean-up, air line install and insulating of the shed. We completed the install with nice Ag-panel for the interior.

Here is the construction/reconstruction of my soon to be office. The building was built on skid/logs and fast sinking into the dirt. We dug under the building, poured piers, and reset. Then weather wrapped the building and installed proper siding and windows. The interior work will come later.

Thanks, yeah the small shed was just wrapped in tar paper and sinking in the mud when I purchased the home. No I just have the little shed which will become my office and the two car garage which functions as my shop.

Here is the construction of the porch for the office.

Yeah I had an odd size of scaffold that didn't quite work as smooth as it should with my others. So I thought why not chop up the scaffold. It is rated for a thousand pounds and already has locking casters. But mostly, I was not in the mood to spend a long weekend or more to fab up a bench in a hurry. And looking online for pre-fab tables I found those to be pretty expensive for what a person gets. With the scaffold I thought it would be fast and simple and can be taken to the jobsite if needed.
