Bob I bought the roll almost 2 months ago, so it's past their 30 day return. Will they still give store credit?

I think that if you return it without a receipt they will give you store credit (even better if you have the receipt). I wasn't aware that they had a 30 day policy. I'm pretty sure I've returned unused stuff way later than that.

no recipt or past the 30 days is store credit only as long as it was not a clearance item.
if they still have the then you are good. if its been on sale then they may give the lower price but if you have the recipt you will get full price

even with the receipt, sometimes they try the lower price fist and if you scream, they give the actual price. I had this happen with a tree that died. Paid $179, and they wanted to only give me the sale price that it sold for at the end of the season. They take back garden plants up to one year. I was told that someone once returned a Christmas tree saying it was dead after the first of the year!!!!!!
