Some work next to my garage

Just thought I would share some construction work 10' next to my garage. A 120 year old culvert just can't keep up with storms like Irene so a new replacement is under way.

I was ready to put my house on the market in April to move to North Carolina but now I'm on hold as you can see why.

Here are some pictures of before and now.

I'm confused. You said you were going to move to NC in April but your location already says you live there.

CombatNinja - Don't be confused. I have 2 houses, one I owned for 39 years in New Yuck and one I am retiring to in N.C.. Just transitioning over the past several years. Yes I am slow. I list the where I live to the one I spend the most time at.

Just figure I would freshen the N.Y. house up to be rid of it and monitor this level of construction literally 12' from my "old " garage.

I was hoping it would have been someone elses problem to sign over the easement and have this carnage occur.

Here is a picture of the new garage. I started the right side wing before I returned to N.Y. but not shown in the picture. Once I sort out all the pictures I'll start a thread of the construction.

carnutdallas - Thanks, after 39 years of living here the only work done has been avalanche clean ups and 2 repaves. The road has a gate just up from me as it is impassable from November to April.

Nice “new garage”. Love the lush green landscape. Don’t have that in Texas. Cheers to retirement - sort of [emoji6]

My only concern is you are the last guy for surface run off.
