180# sounds about right. Maybe less with no pipe jaws. Combination vises are always heavier than a standard machinist vise.

I’d love to but it’s at least two hours away and I can’t think of an excuse to go there that my wife would believe. Maybe I could tell her I’m just going to the gentleman’s club by the interstate.

Price a new one. "I am saving money!"

I already tell mine that's where I am going. She has lived here longer, so she knows where the good ones are. :D

Looks like it is sprung, in that the steel slide to dynamic jaw casting connect became more than 90 degrees. Why I am not a fan of 2 piece dynamic jaw vises.

Dynamic jaw is sprung and the slide is totally busted. That is probably why the jaw is sprung. That would be a very difficult part to reproduce.
