Something funny about the picture. 15 bids...gosh. I guess there's one born every minute. Pic looks like the box was from a cheapo taiwan set from the 80s, repainted & a craftsman logo was put on it. No indicator of manufacturer on the individual sockets/drive tools. Give me a -v- or BE ...something. Nope.

Rip off city. Sad people do these type of things just for money.

Look at the auction again. The tools are marked "CF" which puts them at 1934-1939 vintage, made by Herbrand. Box looks original to me.

Look at the socket set boxes in the link and tell me they aren't the same quality.

Have you actually seen even a 1950-60's vintage socket set box before? I have old Billings, New Britain and Snappy boxes that are cheaper looking than that set.
