Good afternoon chaps. I have taken quite an interest in PB Swiss multi-bit screwdrivers and their C6 insert bits as well. In no small part because of Monte's great photos of the C6 bits in those carrying cases. By all accounts the C6 bits are as well made as any brand out there.
What I am not completely sure about is which bits fits exactly what type of handle. I was at the international and U.S. sites in the screwdtivers> ratchets and sets section. The main page there says . "All PB 225 interchangeableblades and the PrecisionBits C6 can be used." Does this mean either style of bit fits either handle or as I think, all the bits fit their respective handle type?
I note there are individual ratchet mechanisms for each bit series(1/4 sq.drive, 225, and C6) that are designed to fit 225 style handles. This would be an efficient and cost effective way to add bit series and ratchet function as you need them. What I cannot seem to find is a non- ratcheting, Swissgrip 225 style handle. Also the only non ratcheting handle I did find had a ninety degree swivel joint in it which I really do not like. And it is not Swissgrip. Am I missing it?
