Im looking for people who have one of the 42" harbor freight tool chests. I'm looking at buying the top, bottom and side chest of drawers.. I want your reviews. ....I hear they are made by the same company that makes the tool chests for matco, just a grade lower. I have read the reviews online and I am strongly leaning towards one. I'm just looking for a local review or 2. If you have one please email me and tell me what you reslly think of it and how long you have had it.

Thanks

I recall reading somewhere on here that someone said the HF and Matco service carts were made in the same plant over seas. I dont believe everything on the internet though.

Some of the carts are made by PTP overseas. It's the MSC4 series & below. The higher end carts are made in Jamestown, New York.

Maybe he couldn't tell the difference (in term of quality) that he assume Matco and HF boxes are the same.
