It is a 3 phase unit, so converting it to a 220 volt single phase is going to cost about $400 for a motor. You may or may not be able to use the control box with a single phase motor. There is no oil filter on this, and it is a 1961 unit. That means that it has been in use for 47 years, and it is anyones guess as to how it was cared for. I wouldn't buy it for $500 knowing what I already know about these compressors.
