Hi folks,

I just thought I would post something a little different..but tool related. I refurbished this old girl a few years ago. Nothing fancy but it's cleaned up and works great.

I have a small business on the side making nylon rifle slings, "rigger" style belts, hatchet belt carry loops, and a few other small items. This old timer comes in very handy for setting snaps, rivets, grommets, etc.

Best,
Rob

Looks nice, you should check out my
posts in the "Repurposing Thread". I
Reworked a dual kick press that was
originally used for rivets. I turned it
Into a fret press for my dads canjo
operation. It's post number 82 on
page 5.

How did you do the raised lettering so nicely?

Well I would like to say that I am very talented and that the job took a lot of time and effort with a fine paint brush. Truth is that I used a gold paint marker that Walmart sells in a two pack for like $3 or $4. They work great.

Best,
Rob

Yes, the four trays are nice. I keep the various dies that I have in one tray and snaps, rivets, grommets, whatever I'm working with in the others.

Best,
Rob
