Yea, he's always scoring the good stuff. But have you ever noticed that he doesn't share where he finds these deals.

More, better, bigger!!!
I'm on that quest too.
And you do well Strouty, by selling the old to pay for the new.
But when is it big enough and good enough?
I have definite limits because of space.
Another constraint I have is time.
A few days ago I came across a PEXTO 36" shear. Been wanting one forever. Been looking for one forever. This one was much less expensive that the other ones currently listed, by half.
And I had the money in my pocket!
I was set to pick it up last Monday. All I had to do was empty the cabinets out of the van and get it.
But I cancelled. After wasting my time and energy and emotional wherewithal for the whole weekend, anticipating getting it.
Didn't have a ready place for it yet. Didn't want the additional burden of dealing with it.
Should have never looked at CL. It gets me excited and off track.
When everything here is cleaned up and fixed and I have a space all ready for it, I will go looking for another one.
Bill
Good job on passing it up...... When you have space and can use one, I'm sure you will be able to fine one.
Congrads on the restraint, I know it wasn't easy to pass up.![]()
BC, Good for you, I know it was hard for you to leave it behind. Rich
I am not sure Bill would want to hear my answer.
In my situation, I would not buy it because it is not 48".![]()

I think the parts are available, but buying them is expensive as can be. I figure I can wrap the pumps in plastic and store them in the conex. They are only 480 pounds.
I hear you Strouty, and you're right. I need to wait for a 48" power version with a back gauge and front feed rails...
Bill
Looking at all I need to do this summer, it's time to get a move on, with the important things.

Did you ever get the water connected Bill does your furnace work![]()
Well said Strouty.Try not to turn this into a rag on Bill session, he has made some great progress and he has made some mistakes. We all make mistakes, I know I do, it is also easy as can be to call out someone else's problems than it is to deal with your own. This thread showcases problems, solutions, mistakes, shortcomings, adventures, and great advice, try to keep it that way.
Thanks in advance guys.
