Sorry guys, not looking to be spammy, but we launched our product on Kickstarter and would really appreciate it if you took a look at it and shared your thoughts and hopefully share it with your friends.

It's a stuff carrier that anyone can use... in the garage, sports fields, beach etc.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure I've seen almost the exact same thing in Neiman Marcus stores and maybe Saks. Not for sale, but for use by patrons as a shopping cart.
I'm fairly certain even once in a Penney's.

How is yours unique enough to battle 300 other closely related products?
Are those wheels blow-molded?

Our product isn't meant for retail chains to be used in a store. Although the "stuff carrier" space is crowded, we differentiate ours:

  • Modular basket storage from garage to vehicle to destination
  • Quality material.. won't fall apart after 2-3 seasons
  • Robust... can be used anywhere you need to carry your stuff
  • Ours just looks good.. looks do matter
  • Compact fold.. stands when folded

Thanks for taking the time to ask questions. Hoping you'll share the campaign with your friends!

If you could make this convert from a baby stroller to something useful after the kids are walking, I would have bought it. $250 thrown away on a stroller used for 2 years.

How are those front wheels in sand? Do you have a video of it in sand? You mention the beach at least 2 times in the ad. If I purchased it for the beach I would expect something that can handle loose sand. Dragging chairs, coolers carts etc often struggle with sand

Really appreciate you taking the time and looking at our Kickstarter page.

We don't have any plans to have this convert to carry kids... it's just a really great stuff carrier! Appreciate the idea and will talk about it at our next team meeting. ;)

Needs much bigger wheels for sand. That thing would sink in badly on a beach. You need a omething like the wheels on this one:

Also, if you have any steel in this, it's good for about a year in beach use, then it'll rust.

Thanks for checking out our Kickstarter page.

As with many beach/ sand carriers, it will be common practice to drag the MUVIT behind you on the extra wide rear wheels. That would be the most comfortable way to do maneuver it.

What's great about the larger swivel front wheels is how it performs on multiple surfaces and especially on the beach boardwalk. Whereas other beach cars have small (almost insignificant) front wheels, our won't get caught up on the unevenness of the boardwalk wood planks. You know how it goes... you're pushing the cart and the front wheels on other products are too small and you get "stumped" by an inch of an odd out of place wood plank.

Our MUVIT holds more of your "stuff" when you go to the beach. The fold out arm carries up to four beach chairs and the frame and basket easily swallows up the cooler and all the odds and ends you need for a day on the beach.

Another awesome feature is the modularity of the removable mesh bag. Just fill it up at home and put it in the car. When you get to your destination, you just unfold the frame and drop in the bag. No need to pack the car, unpack the car and into other carts. One and DONE.

Please feel free to ask any other questions and again... thanks for checking out our page. I hope you can share with your family and friends

Yes.. we've considered other wheel types and found that our large and wide oversized rear wheel does very well in many kinds of terrain including sand.

Our wheels don't pigeon hole the MUVIT.... Whereas your example is a great beach wagon, you'd be able to use MUVIT in many different environments where you need to move your stuff anywhere and everywhere.

We developed this product because everyone can use it... Everyone has "stuff" that they need to move. MUVIT makes it easier.

We really appreciate your feedback and taking a look at MUVIT. Hopefully you can share with your family and friends as well! :rocker:

Cool, A personal light weight portable grocery cart, sort of.....I like it!
I am trying to think of a way I can use it.
MUVIT...nice name!
DIfawpjXYAAibU8.jpg

I am not close to the beach, nor do I have kids and go to the park much.

I do go shopping but my granny cart works pretty well for what it is...$20 at a garage sale...
1359.jpg

I do go bike riding to the fireworks on the 4th of July with a cooler and chair strapped to my handlebars and fork.
I do go to the lake on my bike with a cooler, tacklebox, and fishing pole...making my bike pretty loaded down.
If you could attach the cart to a bicycle....I could use it to carry my gear to the lake and fireworks display...now you got me thinking I could modify my granny cart....
Bigger ball bearing wheels....
how to attach it to the bike...hmmmmm.
Thanks for sharing your invention....kind of a nitch market.
Hope you get it working, I see you put a lot of work into it!

Awesome "Granny cart"... Seriously my mother has like three of those things. I've had to fix them with zip ties all the time. She lives in downtown Boston so they def come in handy. So I have a ton of experience with them and they do have their place.

What MUVIT solves is the amount of stuff that so many people and families have to carry around no matter what you are doing . And MUVIT does it with style and efficiency. Unlike the "granny carts" MUVIT has the modular bag and has a one hand stand and fold! No granny cart can do that.

Thanks for your suggestions and well wishes... If I could ask you to do one more thing.... please share our Kickstarter link with your friends and family and help to spread the word. Here's the link again so you don't have to go searching for it.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1874936628/muvit-a-new-product-to-help-people-move-their-stuf?ref=9j8cvr

BTW, you can also use it to haul all of your work and garage gear! MUVIT easily handled a full tool box, power tools and all the accessories.... think about this, fold out the beach chair arm and use it to hang saw horses instead!

Pretty cool. Its a stuff stroller! LOL.
I have 3 kids, spent more time with a stroller than I care to remember. One thing I do remember was putting everything in and out of the stroller every time you get to the car. You got that covered with the separate basket. Nice.

Only thing missing is the made in USA sticker? Where's the factory?

Oh my god you put a mesh grocery bag on a baby stroller frame.

The homeless people downtown push around setups that look just like the muvit, a baby stroller with a basket.

I wish you luck.

Now off to build my prototype frame to put big wheels under a yeti cooler and a basket on top of it.

There's the problem right there. People overpack.
I've seen my friends go to the park with their kids, and they unpack an entire minivan of 'stuff'. Tents, blankets, coolers, snacks, balls, toys, umbrellas, etc. etc.

We used to go to the park .....we would bring a ball.

What are the dimensions folded/unfolded? Is there any adjust-ability to the push handle. The biggest issue I have with any kind of shopping cart, push/pull type buggy, wheel barrow, etc. is that I am constantly kicking it with my feet as I walk or it is running over the back of my feet while I walk. I'm not unusually tall at 6'3" and it infuriates me that there is NOTHING made with taller people in mind.

We have used this from Costco for the last 5 years and works well especially for $55:

Yes... we've seen and some in the office have first hand experience with that beach cart. But that is all it is.. a beach cart.

MUVIT has more features and can be used in multiple environments.

>Modular design: removable basket
>one hand fold
>stands when folded: doesn't fall flat on you
>larger and holds more of your "stuff" - up to 175lbs
>smooth rolling front swivel wheels
>Cup Holders and zippered compartment for your personal items
>Rear bungee and sleeved mesh pocket

Where is the cart made? How much$? If the wheels are ****, the cart is worthless.

MUVIT was designed and engineered right here in NJ & Rhode Island! It will be manufactured overseas.

As of now, our Early Bird special is still going on! Get it for $155 vs. $199 retail.

We've tested the wheels on multiple surfaces with no issues. This is a quality product :)

Thanks for chiming in and I hope you'll take advantage of the Early Bird special that expires Friday 9/15 @ 11:59 EST.

What are the dimensions folded/unfolded?
** 30"w x 40"d x 40"h assembled : 15"x30.5"x25" folded

Is there any adjust-ability to the push handle.
** The fixed handle bar is comfortably padded and we tested with various heights and with people as tall as yourself. No one had an issue pushing or pulling MUVIT!

We tested MUVIT on all sorts of surfaces and it works very well. Feel free to ask any other questions

Muvit is the best. Everyone needs a Muvit. It was designed in the U.S. Buy one now. Buy two now. It is usable in many environments. Have you bought one yet? Are you this dense that you cannot see the value in a big chinese mesh and plastic cart?

Advertise our product for us!

The question wasn't if you tested.
The question was if those are the cheapest possible absolutely guaranteed to fail blow molded wheels. They look like blow molded wheels that you would find on the cheapest possible child's throw away toy.

A close up picture and you telling g us they are not blow molded toy wheels is what we are looking for.

I can definitely tell you they are not cheap blow molded wheels you'd find on toys and lesser quality products. I'm checking in with our Engineer for the precise specs for you. So stay tuned.

I cannot think of a single application where I would choose this cart over whatever is already on the market.. As one of my professors liked to say "it is a solution looking for a problem". Maybe rethink it so it hits the needs of one market rather than trying to hit every market.

Also engineered in (insert some random place) USA, Made in China (in tiny font) literally screams I know you don't want to pay this price for a Chinese product and we are ashamed of where it is made.

Here is the information you're looking for... the wheels are injection molded and covered in a rubber tire tread  Nothing cheap or flimsy about MUVIT.

Sorry, I don't see any novelty in this idea. How is it different form a million and one other carts that people push around? On my commute into the city, I see a ton of homeless people pushing around shopping carts that do exactly the same thing.

An idea is only as valuable as the protection you can impose upon it. Without novelty (i.e. truly differentiating factors based upon design elements, features and the like) you cannot protect your idea. Then, you are only competing only on price.

I would not invest a penny on this. Sorry to be brutally honest.

Why overseas?

The same reason I am looking to do it.

For the same quality, it's much cheaper. The only reason you would manufacture here now, is ease of communication, and to get the sticker that is so near and dear to people (which really means nothing these days).

I think the price point is just too high. Make it less then a hundred. at $79 they should sell well.

how much does it weigh?

Well,
If every start up thought this way there wouldn't be a 90 percent failure rate. Grandma won't lose her retirement savings and no one would take a second mortgage to fund a boondoggle, lose, and stiff the bank for their failures. E

Exactly!
