Sometimes Lady Luck is on your side and Today it was shining on me. I found an ad that had many vintage tools so out the door I went this morning for a nice 35 mile drive in the country side. When I got there I overheard a group of Men cursing under their breath "Darn fool has no tools to look at"; and sure enough nothing but clothes and junk.
So as I was heading home by chance I stopped at another garage sale and with not much in the way of tools I did spot the guys Man cave and I asked if I could just look at his old tools.
Well he thought a moment and said sure and that is when I spotted a box of hammers (of course you guys know that I love hammers), and they were all covered in thick rust. I found one that looked pure vintage and he was reluctant at first to sell it, but since nobody was buying any of his junk he said for $5.00 dollars it is yours to take home.
I gave it a gentle cleaning to remove years of rust and look what followed me home Today a vintage Bonney hammer!
Happy Hunting.
