Just this week I was crawling on a dirty garage floor finding bits of gold as they say at a garage sale and I picked up a few klein sockets along with some other mixed American sockets.

Now I must tell you I am very familiar with Klein tools but not with their sockets, but the sockets looked very well made. It just so happened that I was holding in my dirty hands a few klein/ wright sockets and as they say the lights went on as both sockets had the very same block letter style just a different numbering system.

I would think Today any klein sockets would be made overseas but from many years back it would seem they were made by the wright company; just how many years back I am not sure without seeing some old catalogs.

I never stop learning something new everyday!:rocker:

I picked up a few more sockets from a garage sale this week and two of the older sockets were 1 1/16 in size. The Wright is # 4134 and the klein is marked 65231 in case you get confused looking at close up pictures.

klein has sourced tools from a variety of mfgs. at one time sk was the source for ratchets sockets and wrenches.

those most likely look wright made as you have shown. if anyone has any klein marked sk tools for sale, let me know.
