I think it goes something like this..."The best laid plains of mice and men often go awry".

I tried my best to send the CL poster some updated information so that they could fix their post ( meaning it is not a buggy wrench & it is not rare) but alas some people can not be told anything so my good intentions went awry.

PS: If some kind GJ brother/Sister can make this CL ad stay for a long time thanks in advance.

I enjoy odd shaped wrenches that I find from .50 to a dollar or two (except for the 19 1/2" monster from Armstrong).

Hope you enjoy the pictures and several of the wrenches are from the B&S company.

$14.98 who asks that on CL?

He or she has had this on for a long time as it used to be $15.00 dollars. I sent them a link to the AA web-site a long time ago so at least they got the dates right. I did tell them that it was a tad high in price hence why no one was taking the bait in the tool section.

Hey listing is for free so what do I know????

I have a few of those wrenches pasted down from my Gdad. Never used one, not sure how useful they are. As a matter of fact, I do a fair amount of wrenching from time to time and can't remember the last time I used the open end of a wrench other than an adjustable.

It's usually a antique store or a flipper.

They can't be told much. sometimes people on eBay will listen since people can demand money back.

I've done that exact thing when it comes to impact wrenches that were advertised wrong. Sometimes told to get a life.... Whatever dude, sell it as another better, stronger model then see how that goes for you on ebay after the buyer gets it. You try to help some people with what you know and they are hard headed, get upset or whatever. Makes me wonder what happened after the sale of said mis-represented tools.
