E tank = Electrolysis tank (5 gallon bucket some sacrificial iron for the anodes, some Spa chemicals, and a battery charger) Search Electrolysis and Rust and you will get a million hits...

Thanks Guys, I think I'll have them back together later today so pics tonight or tomorrow...

That Craftsman Vise started its E-bath process last night, so maybe that one by Monday? :dunno: I'm going with the original grey on that one.

Good job Outlaw!

I need to try the e-bath on my next vise. Getting kind of tired of the whole wire wheel/drill way.

Outlawmws or others,

Sorry to resurrect an old thread here but the PM to Outlaw didn't seem to be working.

Can you or anyone ID this Palmgren angle vise featured in this thread? A model number perhaps? or Anyone have one EXACTLY like it?

I came into a Palmgren swivel base and of course just have to have the angle vise to go with it. Because, well, just because. This swivel features a single bolt mount as does Outlaw's angle base.

I have seen a few similar on here, like a beauty resto from 1982fxr, but his has a 2 bolt mount.

THANKS

Sorry Scooter, but work today left NO time for fun... (I'm STILL Not quite done...)

As to your base and my Angle vise,, my vise has no model No. on it just the Palmgren name. its a small vise, so probably your base is for a larger indexing vise used for light milling...

I'm assuming the ring on yours has degree markings on it?

No worries, the PM didn't show in my out box.

Yes, the degree markings are there, along with a prominent protrusion from the bolt base to index the base of the angle mount. Both should be visible here with scale for approximate size. Thanks!uploadfromtaptalk1445482960085.jpg
