Hello all,
I apologize for not introducing myself earlier, about a week ago when I first joined. I am accustomed to posting an introductory thread whenever I first join a new board but I had a little difficulty navigating the GJ on my mobile.
I am a 20-year railroad employee from Montana. I've always been a garage guy...love tinkering and playing in the shop. My activities are generally mundane...I don't have big fancy wood or metal working tool. I do what I can with basic tools. My main interests center around motorcycle repair, maintenance, and customization, art, and general household repair and maintenance. Recently I've become interested in vintage and antique shop tools as well. Looking around the shop I've actually acquired many over the years. Recently I've been collecting old post drills and working on expanding my vise collection too.
My shop is modest, 18x22. We had a new property constructed in 2021 and in addition to an attached 3-car I've also got tge separate shop. Nothing fancy and constantly being improved and worked on.
I've been a member of a couple sister sites to this in the past, the Jockey Journal and the H.A.M.B.. Glad to be here.

Welcome to the Forum from Southwestern California.
My shop space is in a garage that I am Sharing with my son who parks his Lief in.
Shop spaces don’t have to be large; just your own place to work.

True. One of my favorite shop spaces yet was at our last house...a little 1-car tuck garage.
What's a Lief?
