Might be of interest UK Members. I was in Wickes a few days ago. I’d stopped by to price up the materials to build a compressor hutch (but that’s another thread), and noticed they had these on special near the checkouts. They were on for £7.49 for the set, but looks like it's gone back up to £9.99 now.
These are re-branded Sortacases, as sold by Toolstation (amongst others). Sortacase themselves are a cheaper, simpler version of the very spendy Sortimo cases. For less than £10, they’re a bargain. Toolstation is currently selling the larger case alone in this set for £9.98.
Even before the Wickes deal I’d decided to standardise on these cases to organise my small parts and fittings, so as you can imagine I was very pleased to pick up a couple of these sets of 3. Importantly, they have proper separate, removable trays in them, and you can order spares/different sizes from various suppliers. I didn’t want to commit to a particular stores’ own-brand only for them to be discontinued, and Sortimo are incredibly expensive.
Now I have a few of these, I suppose it's time to build a 'hutch' for them...
Anyway, hope it's of use to someone over this side of the pond.
