Sorting Wrenches

I started a new job and i sorted out the 4 different toolboxes they had to make sure we have evrything in each one, now the manager wants me to paint the wrenches so we can know which one belongs to each tool box, any suggestions on paint?

id just use spray paint, if it rubs off or scratches off keep a can and respray. if not what i did at the old shop to tell between what tools were mine and what tools were my coworkers, i wrapped it in different color electrical tape

if you dont wanna spray paint them I'd engrave something (your intials, #'s ect ect) on them just to prove they are your wrenchs and not somebody elses. Ive opted to engrave the last 4 digits of my SSN on my stuff...

I used paint pens for our shop. Each box/bay has a diff color. You can color the tool brand name in with the paint pen, and it doesn't wear off very easy. Then you can spray paint all other items that go to that box/bay. IE: Buckets, step stools, wheel chocks, dust pans, brooms... Things like that.

I did mine with a bit of powder coat. I just put a flat black stripe of coating on all my tools and then cooked them in a dedicated toaster oven. Harbor freight sells the powder for about $5, and the sprayer for about $100.

x2 on regular spray paint. Sprayed all my metric tools with a bit of red to easily identify them from standard.

Just get a couple cans of Rust-oleum High Performance paint. Red, orange, yellow and some pink paint.
Give the pink tools to the shop's resident ****.
Or go with green paint.
