My dad bought this air belt sander from princess auto and needs to buy new belts for it but I can only find a 3 pack for 10$ at princess auto which is expensive.Would prefer 100 grit. Do any of you know of a cheaper place to buy these.

Much appreciated

I picked up a 1" belt sander at a yard sale cheap and went through the same dillemma. nobody sells belts long enough locally. tried cutting some from a 6x9 sander belt but didn't work out so good.

cheapest I found was amazon, huge bulk pack but I think I got 50 for $15...so check there. may not be any less than $10 but they have larger selection of vendors and bulk packs...

Abrasive Resource can easily do it as can Klingspor. They can make any sized belt as they are a converter.

Thanks guys. We tried a 3/8 x 13 and it fit but on the belt sander it says the discs are 3/8x12 9/16 so it tricks you to buy the ones for 10$ for three at princess auto. We got 6 belts for 3$ at harbor freight when we went over.

Thanks again
