Source for 4x6 bandsaw gear

The worm gear on my 4x6 band saw took a ****. I was running it today and it just stopped cutting. The gears on the worm shaft appear to be OK, But the gear is shot. So bad I can't get decent measurements to look up something similar or even attempt cutting one on my own.

As I am sure that I am not the first one who needed to replace these, I am wondering where you sourced replacement gears from?

This is a 20 tooth gear. The saw brand is black bull from TSC. I just got it new 13 months ago. There was plenty of oil in the gear box so I am not sure why it wore out so fast.

You could probably hobb the gear on a lathe if you want a project.

Thanks Shadowdow500. That gave me a nudge in what I hope is the right direction.
The diagram looks just like mine.
The part image won't load for me but the price did, 50 bucks! I got the saw on clearance for $150. Hoping I can find it cheaper than that.

Since the Grizzly was a match I went to Harbor freight site and their diagram is the same as well. I will call them Monday when they open to see what they have.

I did turn a gear blank tonight out of some aluminium. All I could get was the largest circumference of the gear, The widths and the ID of the shaft. The teeth are pretty well chewed up so the rest will be guess work.
If I can find some time tomorrow I will grind me out a bit and see if I can get lucky with a match.

Can you turn a match to the worm gear out of W-1 drill Rod? If so, you can grind reliefs into your matching worm gear to make a tap. Then harden it, then hobb a gear like shown in this video.

Mine stripped and I spend a bunch of time researching all of the variables like gear pitch, major diameter, etc. Ended up with a Boston Gear part number GB1050A and had to broach a keyway into it. The one linked from Amazon looks identical to mine.

My saw is an older Rigid, probably made in the 1980s.

A problem with 4x6s is they use grease for the gearbox. Grease will open up a void and not lubricate. But if they were to use gearoil they would need seals. I added a fill plug and now she sits over a oil patch.
