Source for angled feeler gauges

I have a set from Blue Point, but I'm looking for something dead on 0.30 mm. Not sure I will find it, but I figured I'd ask the experts....

0.3mm = 0.011811in
if you used the 0.012 in your set you would only be too big by 0.0048006mm

Mine are KD. Not sure if they have .3mm tho

I suspect Kastar makes them for the trucks as well as Sears etc. You used to be able to get the Kastar branded angled sets at Pep boys. I don't know if they still carry them now that most folks no longer have to adjust valve lash every 6-15 thousand miles.

That's the one I have, but it's 0.305mm.

You may need to find feeler gauges calibrated in the R.C.H. scale.

... they are called feeler gages for a reason ... save your money & use the .012, you'll be fine.

.305 mm is five one thousandths of a millimeter too large, that translates to .000197 of an inch too thick, thats just under two ten-thousandths of an inch, imperceptible and not worth anguishing over, you will probably wear that much metal off the feeler the first time you stick it something.

more importantly, no offense, but do you really think you are good enough to get the valve lash within .005mm on every valve. I know I couldnt. I know that if I was adjusting the valve lash there is going to be slight variations in gap from valve to valve and it is deffinatly perceiveble to have a .005 difference from valve to valve.

Use a Dial indicator on a stand..we set Jake Brakes and Injectors that way.

Which is like 1/8 the thickness of a cigarette paper...I don't think I'd worry about it.
