Source for "Flare " Wrench

After fighting the temp sensor install in my intake manifold where there is very limited room for an open end or a box end wrench , I decided I need a "box end , line/flare crowfoot wrench . Did a search on the internet and can`t find such an animal , and before I try to make one ( box end , cut a slot in it , cut the handle off and machine an opening for my racket and extension ) , thought I would see if anyone here knows of such an animal .
Because of the distributor location and the configuration of the intake manifold runners , an open end just wont work . Also , it`s a mechanical unit , so I can`t just remove a wire .

Flare nut crow's foot? Yeah they're out there, all the big players make them. Proto, like many others offer 6 and 12 point versions.

HF has an SAE set on the website, no metric. Sears carries (carried?) them, lots of other folks, I'm sure.

Depending on the size you need, Epstein's has NOS Bonney crowsfeet with the Loc-Rite broaching on them.

There's a chance you may have not torn-down far enough to get to it, but checkout this wrench.. it saved me hours of tear-down and reached where I needed it to.
It may not be the right solution, but the zig zag flex head worked for me.
the wrench is on the shelf at nearly every Autozone and comes in 3/8 & 7/16 or 10mm & 12mm.

Check harry Epstien for Bonney's or look on e-bay for Bonney and/or Snap On tubing/flare wrenches and crow foots.

That atd deal could be good, everthing I ever got from them great, some of their pieces are the real deal, just without brand name. Those adjustables are like that, same blank as the irwin, the fit and finish was perfect. Had the ATD label on in ink. I bought a couple sets of wobble extensions, same deal. Super good. Super cheap.

With a sensor can't you pull the connector off and maybe get a real box end wrench on it?

I'm also in the market for some new Flare/Line wrenches. But I want ones that are a real solid fit. I was looking at the Sunex set. It's fairly cheap. But i know the craftsman ones I have now aren't too great so I want something of a higher quality.

how big is the sender? would something like these work? They're great when you don't have room to turn a crowsfoot socket.

So I'm guesing that you'd recommend Snap On if I were to get a set of wrenches too.

I'm gonna be using them mainly for Fuel filters and stuff. I don't see those sockets working too well. Seems like theres a lotta potential for Off-Axis torque and the possiblity of bending the line or stripping the fitting if it's not in great condition.

They work great if it's a short sensor and the wire lead can be pushed out of the way (but not removed). They partially wrap around, so they do a better job than just a plain crowfoot. For fuel filters ... maybe if there is a hose that pops out a short distance then curves, but probably not.
