Source for GE H2O treatment sumps

Anybody found a source for replacing just the sump on the GE whole house water filter? I'm getting tired of buying a whole new unit just for the sump. We have two in parallel and the threads on the sumps begin cracking after the first or second filter change.

I have a strong preference for the clear sumps as the silt build-up is very unpredictable.

Model is GXWH40L or similar.

I don't, sorry.. You probably need to ask GE about "parts".
I'd recommend that you move over to "big blue" series by Pentek. You can get them in 10" and 20" models. If you shop around, they come in transparent sumps also.

I've had some luck with the China knock-offs of these available on Amazon, but you'll need to assume that their threads **** at sealing. I use a 20" transparent-sump one currently, with 1" inlet/outlet.

The larger filters make a huge difference in area and changing frequency...
