Source for large pellet-style desiccant dryer?

Title sums it up. I'm looking for a large pellet-style desiccant filter (so I can dry/re-use/source desiccant inexpensively). Well, I'm actually looking for about 3 of them. Something like this would be ideal:

I hear it can be found on sale for $40 or so, which would be great. Apparently Harbor Freight used to sell one like it, but they no longer carry it.

I've considered building my own, as HAP did here:

I would probably add another set of T's, so I could have the air entrance and exit horizontal, instead of vertical (with a drain exiting vertically). I just want something that will hold a decent amount of desiccant, viewports, and some sort of filtration to keep desiccant particles (mostly) out of the line. I'll have a 5 micron filter after the deisiccant.

Check ebay you can get It in bulk I think it comes in 5 - 75 lbs bags

I would personally just build your own they seem pretty expensive for what they are

Plenty of options out there on internet, but not sure what's available to OP as appears to be in Canada. Update GJ Profile with a LOCATION to get best advice.

Small quantities aren't really "cheap" but you can buy just 1 gallon jug of indicating silica beads for $45 like fellow GJer HAP used in that setup.

Those beads are nice as they can be re-used by drying on a cookie sheet in oven.

Personally, I'd wait to put the desiccant dryer until FURTHER DOWN the airline system. No need to put at very beginning when instead you should be using 20 ft or more of black pipe steel or copper airline to drop out any moisture using water trap(s). Often desiccant dryers are at END of the airline system before a guy might be wanting to paint.

I'm in central MO. I'm looking for a container for the desiccant, not the granules (those are easy to find). Each desiccant filter will be at line end, before tool outlet. I've got an after cooler, copper loop, and refrigerated dryer upstream.

^ ^ My bad. The simple pipe style by HAP is fine. Use large diameter pipe.

Any friends in Oil & Gas industry who could get you short threaded drill pipe ??
