The previous owners started putting up interior siding using, I assume, scrap pieces of old lumber... you can see what I am talking about in the pictures. Anyone have any ideas were I could source more to finish? I'd need quite a bit.

You looking for cheap, free, or old?

Free...look around industrial sites for crates. I picked up some pine boards that were 20 Ft. crates from China. I spent a day there and scrounged a bunch of 8 Ft lengths for my garage interior.

Old... bought some 1 X 10" pine a stickered them and later sawed up channel siding when they aged.

Can’t tell what wood. In the country, wood from small sawmills can be surprisingly affordable. Just start asking around. There are still a lot of folks who, when they need framing lumber or hardwood boards, go to a sawmill rather than Lowe’s.
