What's a good source for a decent priced set of those shoes for epoxy? Not really sure if there's quality differences between them or not.

Check with stores like Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams if you have on in your area. I got mine at my Ben. Moore store as that is where I get my epoxy and price was very fair as to what I have seen on websites and didn't have to pay shipping. Send me a pm if you want to know what I gave for them.

I got mine at a thrift store for $2. Had to go to three to find my size, since every store had about one pair of shoes. It was kind of fun though!

Sounds a little crazy but made my own.
Take a piece of 1/2 plywood, and an old pair of shoes, trace the outline of the shoe sole on the ply wood. Left and right. Cut the ply wood to the shape. Then take a handful of dry wall screws, and screw them through the ply wood. I used 1.5" screws, space them evenly about an inch apart.
Now put on your old shoes, hold the spikey plates to the bottom, and wrap the duct tape around to hold them on. The screws will go though the tape, be carefull how you tape, so you can take the shoes on and off. Worked for me

I saw those ones on Amazon, all the reviews said if your feet are bigger than 8.5, not to even bother. :( Those look like lawn aerators, look how long the spikes are compared to the ones I ordered.
