I assumed these were a "spring clip" but maybe they go by a different name as my search foo wasn't finding me much that was visually similar.
It's a die from a crimping tool. Hard to find so I was going to cnc mill something. I was hoping to find a COTS "clip" that was similar to the one pictured, I can drill the holes.
Else I suspect I'll have to learn how to bend spring steel which I was hoping to avoid.
The clip is 1/2" wide and 1-1/4" long (0.015" thick) but just two fairly simple bends. Not sure what is the best material to use? McMaster has 1075 and 1095 spring steel strips in 1/2" x 0.015 of course way longer lengths than I need so $$$
