Hey guys, does this spindle look like it isn't retracting back up inside the head? Does this look like a MT chuck set up? Thanks for any info on this. -John

The return spring could be broken, or the end could have just slipped out of it's slot. You won't know until you open it up.

I had one like that.Head dripped down like that cause it was missing a pin that held it up.It might have been more like a bolt for a coller.Im betting something's missing or needs tightened while the head is pushed up.
