South Bend lathe on CL

Found a 1953 C model 9x48 lathe with a one horse motor with a Woods E-trac AC inverter variable speed drive, momentary keyed start, foot lever stop. Its mounted on a nice custom made metal stand and comes with steady rest, follower rest, bits, knurler tool, boring bars, chucks, faceplate, ect. all for 1200 bucks. Looks really clean. Deal or not?

Taper jig? All the gear set? Collet closer? Modern tool post and holders?

"A" model is preferred, with it's gearbox. Picked mine up for $400. Heavy 10 is what to look for.

Pretty high for a C model (no gear box, no power cross feed) with what looks to be minimal tooling IMHO.
