I'm highly impressed by this borescope. At about 13 minutes in is about when he starts using it. The clarity is amazing.

He calls it "Mr. Wiggles" because of its articulating tip. 😁

I saw that, I'm mildly in the market for one. Would sure hurt my feelings to spray gasoline or whatever all over one that expensive. I just use a basic dual camera unit, mainly so I can go through the spark plug hole and look for wall scoring/piston issues or look at the intake valves for carbon issues.

Eric O is a friggin rock star.

Just ordered Mr. Wiggles; the Depstech page lists the camera diameter as 6.2mm. Most of the other super low profile borescopes from Snap-on and others are 5.5mm. Hopefully I can jam this one in a glow plug hole, but the video quality looks great, even compared to Snap-on's new $2000 offering.

Have a Depstech at work. The worst part about it is the cable. Stiff and hard to manage for the short time I need it. Camera quality is great and they're cheap.

I paid $60 for my endoscope. It's good enough since I don't use it much, but one of those high dollar precision joystick ones would be beast and a lot easier to get pointed in the right direction.

Are you kidding man? He's a national treasure. 😁
And a very good human being. I stayed at his house for a week six years ago and gave him all of the TOPTUL tools that he still uses. Eric and I have absolutely nothing in common. He's a country boy and I'm a city kid. He loves guns and hunting. I hate guns and why should I hunt when Kroger has all of the meat that I need in nice little packages. We are from two different worlds but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate him. If I had to work on the rusty **** that he does, or on trucks covered with ****, as he recently did, I couldn't handle it. The world could definitely use more Erics. His wife Vanessa is just as nice. Good people.

i seen this yesterday and was on the fence . Amazon had them reduced to 229 but i started looking at others for 100 cheaper. Is there a difference , idk. I decided to pull the plug last night and they are unavailable now on Amazon, at least last night I went to Depstechs website and seen they are now on sale there for 229. They where $269 yesterday morning on their site. No tax and free shipping. I have one on the way.

I saw that and added it to my Amazon cart for a future purchase.

Spark plugs is really the only place I use anti-seize. I always wind up getting it on the borescope if it goes in the hole. I have an early Depstech. It was cool when I got it, but the resolution isn't great compared to the newer stuff. It also got grumpy in the cold. Gotta replace her.
