Hey, my name is Zach and I am from Butler County Ohio, a little north of Cincy. Though I've looked around on this forum occasionally for a while, I've never made an account until now.
I guess a little bit about myself is that I'm nineteen, engaged to my high school sweetheart, a graduate from a two year high school automotive vocational tech program, and am starting a job with Firestone tomorrow. This will be my second job in the automotive field. My first was a short stay at a company called Monro Brake and Muffler, a company I will not be returning to anytime soon due to issues with unprofessional co-workers, constantly changing management, and being called in on my days off and sent home early on the days I was supposed to be there.
One reason for joining this forum Is because I enjoy reading about different tools and trying to get a good deal for my money. Another reason was that if I were to find success in this career I would like to be able to talk about my future experiences and maybe help out someone else who is curious about the automotive field later down the road. I am curious if anyone has worked for Firestone before what I can expect on my first day and if there's anything I should no about that management may not have gone over. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read this and I hope to hear back from some of you.
