He has a point, with the spam.
The site is safe, unless you're posting your SS# or credit card info in your Sig. But there should be a rule, that you cannot post anything for a few days after your initial sign up.

These shitbag spammers post fake responses but if you look @ their Sig and they have multiple links for spam sites. Or idiots posting Hello & Goodbye some 29 times on multiple threads.

I like my spam with eggs or on a Monty Python dvd.

It's annoying but there's no danger for members as long as you don't click on their links. If you see a spam post, click the REPORT button and send a message to the moderators. Then, respond to the post with a short message saying "Reported as spam" so other people know it's been taken care of.

Every board in the Internet has to deal with them, it's not just this site. They do seem to come and go in waves.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I like using pictures instead of words, everybody understands the picture real fast.

I generally use something like this. . .

Hit the report button. 16 posts last night made by trandarriny all related to ******.

2 rules for spammers. One - NEVER click on what they post and two hit the report button to contact Admin or a Mod.

Time frame trandarriny posted these 16 odd posts would have been at a time no one else except those out side the US would have seen them.

This site would have to be one of the safest and best run sites. If you click on a dangerous link before Mods or Admin tidy them up and delete them then it is simply a bad decision you made.
