I need some help to ID which specific spanner wrench I need for this nut. The challenge is finding one that can clear the center hole as this is for a jack ram packing nut on an old Weaver. Everything I find is not thin enough to clear the ram.

I know HPS in My signature sells some Custom made face spanners that are thin enough to clear the Ram and also fit the grooves. IMO.. you are better off just making your own by introducing a adjustable face spanner to a grinding wheel, you could get by with a adjustable Hook spanner on the Initial install, Once the Jack wears and you have adjusted the compression nut enough, you will need to step into a face spanner.

I decided to just build one out of some scrap 1/8 metal and a couple roll pins. It may not be pretty and was not exactly how I envisioned it originally, but it worked perfectly... even with my not so stellar mig welding skills

The best part was getting to use many of the tools I have acquired in the past year thanks to GJ including my CM block grinder, Dunlap DP, Portaband and mig welder!
