Spanner Wrench Torque?

I am wanting to set the torque spec on the steering head nut for my Kawasaki Voyager 1700. I have a spanner wrench and a couple of torque wrenches but I cannot find any tool that will apply a torque spec to a spanner wrench. Most write ups I see say to just guesstimate it.

I think I saw a speciality tool in a video once that was the head of a spanner wrench adapted to fit a torque wrench.

If anyone knows of a solution I would like to hear about it.

Similar to that but the spanner wrench I need has a hook or pin at the end.

you don't need to use a torque wrench on the steering head, the torque value in the manual is for the original ball bearings (most of the time) if you installed needle bearings they need to be torqued at some other value.

what you can do is get a scale and look up the value on the internet or in a manual. it should be something around/under 1 kilo of force at handlebar for it just to start moving (wheel off the ground)

You can get one like that with a square hole, or take one of those and make a square hole in it.
I go by feel and do a "fall away" test.

Maybe weld a 3/8" or 1/2" drive adapter to the spanner wrench so you can connect your torque wrench to it????
