I bought a Bluetooth speaker for my Samsung S8 to use in my pole barn, but it isn't loud enough. Can any of you guys recommend a speaker for my cell phone that is loud enough that l can hear it when working? My pole barn is 32x64.

Thanks

I bought a Shelf stereo with blue tooth for my shop the other day. I had used a small speaker for a little while that we had for around the office. I too am curios as to what others have.

I use UE Boom 2. But that is a large area. Several can be synced but don't know how well it would in your case.

I bought this one, primarily because I use DeWalt tools and needed/wanted another 20V MAX charger. It can also run off of the 20V MAX battery if you need to unplug it from the wall and take it with you.

The front bottom area (black with the yellow button) is a pocket used as a phone holder that has a USB port that can charge your phone.

I've used it outdoors as well as in my shop, and so far it's been a decent little jam box.

Hope this helps.

Another option may be to get a bluetooth adapter and use it with an existing stereo/speakers. I have a BT adapter hooked up to an old kenwood tuner and some speakers from garage/estate sales. Total cost ~ $25 and will get louder than I want and has excellent sound.

Bought 2 of these they can be plug and play or bluetooth, they have a volume separate from your phone, you can hurt your ears!

I bought a couple of sonos play 1 hooked up to my wifi in the garage and synced to my phone. Sound is good and volume high enough to hear anywhere in the garage.

I have a small (about 6 inch square) bluetooth receiver I bought on Amazon for $40. It allows you to connect any speaker and puts out plenty of power.

I took advantage of the Amazon deals and got an Echo Dot. It's not that loud but it is designed to work with external speakers via an 1/8" plug. So the Echo had the mic while my old speakers make the noise. Best part is I can come in, say "Alexa connect to my phone" and it's all set up.
