My Vietnam Veterans chapter has held a car show for the last 6 years. As it has grown (110 to 250 cars), our speaker system is no longer able to project sound far enough. We have 2 Yamaha model DXR10 speaker/amps. If we buy 2 more amps, then we would get a delay from the remote speakers. Is there a device that can correct for the delay for a reasonable price? I would also like to be able not to need to run wires to the remote speakers. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Tom

Most places that sell pa gear have used stuff. You should be able to pick up a used digital delay for around $100. There's also ebay.

Not really, the delay will always be wrong for someone.
Maybe you could add a bass component(possibly rented?), the the tops won't have to work as hard, and can be turned up a bit more.
Having the lows at ground level lets the flat ground work as an extension of the cabinet for better projection.
