I've been using Quin-Cip oil for the motor on the Quincy QT-5 over the years, but have run out and wondered if I need to buy this "special" oil (if I can find it), or if there are other oils just as good. Sorry to start an oil thread :(

Quincy extends your warranty for quite a bit if you use the quincip but if you are outside of 5 years of date of purchase then who cares. But I too would be interested.

I just buy Quin-Syn froom my local air compressor guy. At a $6 a quart for a change, his price is not going to break the bank even if you change twice a year like I do.

Middle of nowhere.
We run the POO out of our Quincy (really should have a bigger one). 7 years old just did the 2 "valve job" this year. Replace the tank check valve every 18 months. But the pump is working GREAT and it's been on Conkin Air Compressor oil from day 1.

Our local farm store had the 2 pack oil filter and oil change kits for about 60 bucks. This is for 2 changes. Not too bad.
