I found this at the ReStore a few days ago. At first it reminded me of a battery terminal puller but I realized that it's a clamp after picked it up. Its coated with a very thin bright plating of some kind and I can find no markings on it anywhere. I can understand that no one was proud enough to put their name on it as it's pretty cheaply made but I just like it. I'll likely clamp it to the edge of a shelf and hang something from the single hole in the wing nut. Yeah, the dies (or molds) we're so worn out that the wing only has one complete hole...
So anyway, I've never seen a clamp like this before. Is it simply "a clamp" or does it have a specific purpose or at least it's own descriptive name?
