Speed feed weed wacker head

Guys, Anyone here own one of these heads? Looks like it can be loaded in well under 60 seconds. I'm getting tired of the unscrewing and winding the line up. This head looks pretty good if it works like the video shows.

One came with my Echo trimmer and I love it! Once it a great while I have to disassemble it because the line gets twisted on the spool but for the most part it is trouble free. And it does work like it shows, at least for me!

This has been my experience as well. READ the instructions for winding...and its simple. I also found that using slightly less line than recommended tends to jam less and feed better, but require more often refilling.

Exactly the same here. Love the one that came with my Echo. It does state it is a "wear item", from slapping it on the ground, but i have yet to wear thru it.

I have one and it was the major reason I bought my trimmer.

One down side. I use very heavy line (0.095) and can only load about 12' at a time.

i have one on my Echo as well. cant say enough good things about it. ill never run a diff head.

I just had to refill my echo and unbeknownst to me it had a speedfeed head on it. after disassembling it (couldn't even figure that out on my own), and manually winding up the line, I found my manual which showed my wife what an Idiot I was...so yeah, I think it will be cool next time....

I wore the one out that came on my Toro and recently replaced it with a generic replacement from Lowes. Those speed load heads rock.

If you don't want to fart around with line, there's the Weed Warrior head with the plastic thick blades. When they wear out, you pop them out and you pop new ones in. But they break easy if you hit a fence or concrete.
