Hello!. I have an older Speedaire Compressor, Model 3Z394, and I am trying to locate the bottom, 1/4" drain ****, or pit ****,( depending on what your drinking) On Grainger's illustration chart it is either part # 7 or part #34, depending upon the model. Most drain ***** that I have found do far, are a little long for this adaptation. Thanks:)

Just a suggestion,
why not get a 1/4 brass elbow to go in place of the shutoff, put a 6 inch brass extension on it to come out the side and a 1/4 turn brass shutoff on the end. That way you can drain it daily with one nudge of your foot. Any hardware store or big box would have everything you need locally. I did mine for about 10-12 bucks.

How do those valves work with air...I've only used them with liquid applications....

I also have mine set up this way. Works great, way easier to drain and since I tend to be lazy it prompts me to drain more often.
