Speedglas 100

I have an older speedglas 100 helmet with the older style headgear that does not have the ratchet adjustment but it has broken and they no longer offer that style they have a newer style with a ratchet adjustment so my question is does anyone have this helmet and had to upgrade there headgear? 3m is no help and I called around to some welding supply vendors and they don't know either.

i'd take the hood in to a LWS and have them find something that will work.

or just think of it as a good time to upgrade to another hood...

I might just go ahead and order the new style and if it doesn't work send it back. I really like the helmet itself though
