Speedi-boots

Beginning to plan out my air conditioning and duct work. If anybody is familiar with the Speedi-boots, I have a question.


They offer a 90 degree box (NB) and a 90 degree end box (EB)

I am a little confused on the real difference between the two. Both are 90 degrees and both can only have one duct line attached.


The EB would obviously go at the end of a duct run but in reality, the NB would also have to be at the end of a duct run since there is no Tee on the box.

One has the duct on the "end" and one has it on the "side" (long side/short side) of the register box.
