usually, when creating or answering a post, I get the usual spell check warnings like the red spikey underline when I misspell a word. I noticed about a month or so ago, spell check has stopped. Is there a way to turn it back on?
TIA

I just checked my "custom" dictionary that is built into Chrome. Somehow SEVERAL misspelled words were added ! Obliviously I deleted them.

I have been using Firefox for several years, that's why I am puzzled why all of a sudden it quit working.
I'll poke around FF and see if there is a setting. Also, Our new "IT" has been redoing things. I have noticed some subtle changes, but I don't know how ( or why) he would screw with that

into the FF address bar scroll down to the Language section make sure "Check your spelling as you type" is checked off.
There have also been several FF updates lately one of those may be the culprit.

Since this sounds like a managed PC the dictionary may have been removed for various reasons.
